Today we talked about optics and these rays go from short but with lots of energy to long rays/waves with less energy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optics. Just arrived this morning its my first day, pretty interesting actually. This morning we had a lecture about waves. I already knew most of that but I found Bobby Mcfarrens demonstration about the power of the Pentatonic scale very interesting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ne6tB2KiZuk. After that we had lab visits. We learned about Nano&Pico Characterization, Electron Microscopy and Advanced Optical/Fluorescence Imaging.
